My NBA picks 2011

So it's now the time of the year where everyone picks or predicts the teams that are gonna make it to the NBA Finals. My list consists of 4 teams. I'd love to narrow them down but this season has been really unpredictable. So here are my teams: Spurs, Lakers, Knicks, and God knows i hate this team, Heat. So why these 4? Besides the fact that i am a die hard Spurs fan, they are sitting on top of the standings right now proving that they are still championship material. The Lakers are just plain championship machines. When Playoffs start, they'll be pushing down hard on the gas pedal more and more. And when that happens, they're gonna be difficult to beat. The Knicks are having their so called "comeback" season. They've sucked for so long and now they're actually competing. With the recent acquisition of Carmelo Anthony, the team should be able to knock a few teams out of the playoffs. The Heat......i hate the Heat. sooo no explanation for that. I'll leave that one up to you. With what i have just said, i think we can all just learn that life is full of hard decisions. Gotta make 'em sometime. Peace.

Life is good.

Now before anything else, i just wanna explain why i am suddenly became this hippy-like "life is good, man" kind of guy. Jason Mraz, a person i consider to be a music god, has really been into gratitude. Listening to a bunch of his new songs and watching a lot of his new videos really got me into the whole gratitude thing too. Now I'm not as nearly as deep as he is right now into gratitude but I'm there.

I used to have this point of view that always got me down and depressed, or BV (bad vibes) if you wanna call it that. But now with eyes wide open, i am able to see how beautiful life is. I now have this philosophy that there will always be something to be thankful for. And if we are thankful, i believe that we can overcome any hurt we feel. Look around and take in the scenery slowly. Appreciate each small detail of every single thing around you. Smile.

I am not in any position to say that life is hard because life for me is just beginning. I'm not telling you how to live your life. I'm not telling you to change your point of views. I'm just telling you to smile :)

The Return.

I'm back! After more than one year, i'm finally back to blogging. Why you might ask? I honestly don't know why. I just suddenly felt like blogging again after a long time. Don't get me wrong, its not like i got sick of it and all that. I just haven't had the time to regularly update my blog. I went on a one year "summer break" from blogging. I realized a lot of things during this break. First, i realized that life as we know it runs away from us and that we must always try to catch up with it. Second, i realized how important we all our to one another. And third, i realized that Pizza Hut still has the best damn pizza in town. Anyway yeah just letting the world know that i am back! :) keep on keeping world! :)

2D: The Dallas-Denver playoff series.

The Nuggets reached the second round of the playoffs. I AM IN AWE. To be honest, i really really really didn't expect the nuggets to get this far. Especially with this year's blockbuster trade. Who knew that Chauncey would actually lift the nuggets. WOW.....just WOW.

Dallas on the other hand has been playing...okay i guess. I was actually rooting for the Spurs to win the first round though. But oh well, nothing we can do about it. I think that the Dallas mavericks are also in shock. Stunned by the new and higher level of performance that the Denver Nuggets have shown. But In time the Dallas Mavericks will get used to it and hopefully rise to the occasion. Maybe they'll realize NOT TO UNDERESTIMATE the Denver Nuggets. So if you ask me who's gonna win this one? DENVER's my pick.

The Black Mamba V.S. The KING

Mr.81 and King James, two of the greatest players to ever play the game. Dang! i wish i watched the game. Whooooo! that's some match up. So anyway i read the recap and....

All I can say is KOBE: 1, Lebron:0. Kobe definitely beat lebron this time. Even though King James had more points, Kobe had a bigger impact on the game. Kobe played with a dislocated finger..Can you believe that?! a dislocated finger! This game was a showcase of Skillz that Killz. BATTLE AURA ON!!! It's time to get serious:P. Just a random thought when i found out that Cleveland and LA were playing against each other.

It's like Batman V.S. Ironman, Superman V.S. Hulk, Marvel V.S. DC, GARFIELD V.S. SNOOPY!!!! WOAH....WAY AWESOME. Rock on guys \m/ Now go beat Boston again :))

Thoughts on Dragonball.

Is this for real? Woah... I didn't know Goku was American. =)) and since when did he get so thin? They should have gotten the guy who plays "Lucas Scott" from one tree hill ....or "The Rock" at least he's macho.

Oh well enough criticism for now. Who knows? it might actually be good.

Internet shopping has been revolutionary. Especially when Shopwiki entered the scenery. It's kinda like google but for shopping. It searches the net for the product that you want. It's really pretty interesting. You can buy loads of stuff on Shopwiki. Stuff like sunglasses, books, electronics, accessories, clothing and a lot more.

I know I've blogged about this before but its just too fascinating to ignore. It's a very effective way of shopping online. Their system is very efficient, that is why Shopwiki is really unique compared to other online shopping websites. Unique is good cuz its coo' like that.

Now I'm sure that each one of us have experienced this at least once in our lifetime. We want something.....we need money.....we try to loan......they turn us down..... and why? BAD CREDIT. I'm a huge sucker for shades. I think they look good, they look cool, and they come in handy for poker games. Of course, emphasis is on looking good, so for those of you who want some help with that, here's a sunglasses buying guide. Found it on ShopWiki.co.uk, which is a pretty cool place to shop for shades. There's tons of info, and around 3 times as many stores as in other online shops.

Basically, it sort of works like a search engine. You type in what you want, and the site scours the web for ALL stores that carry whatever it is you're looking for. Much better than other online shops that only show stores that PAY them to display them, don't you think so?

Anyway, I'm thinking I'll go get me some new sunglasses. Rimless sunglasses look pretty good, but then again so do Aviators. OK, there's just too many styles to choose from. I think EYE need to think about this some more.

Shopping is very stressful. You have to go all the way out of your home just to shop, and once you reach the mall you still have to roam around it to find the things that you want to buy. I used to hate shopping. The only time i shop is when i need gifts for my friends and family. The hardest gifts to buy is always the one for the girls. Its just that their so picky and I get sooo lazy to buy things that im not even gonna use.

For example, If I'm planning to buy make-up for my sister (she's into those kinds of things), I can expect a wide variety of choices to choose from. Online shopping has never been this efficient. With this, i can now safetly say that shopping will not be as stressful as it used to be. Thank God.

I was looking to buy some new sunglasses over the internet when I came upon ShopWiki.co.uk. Now I see a lot of online stores, but this one was different. Not only was it an online store for sunglasses, it was also a sunglasses buying guide. Yeah, that's right. It tells you how to pick sunglasses based on your face shape and a lot of other stuff.

Doing a little research, I found out that ShopWiki.co.uk actually has over 30,000 stores, while the average shopping site only has 1,000. That means more choices, which will most probably translate to better buys and better bargains. Anyway, I'm thinking about getting myself a new pair of Aviator sunglasses for Christmas. I deserve it, just because.

Christmas is right around the corner, and it's time to dig into our pockets once again to buy gifts for our loved ones. The thing is, I hate shopping in crowded places. Especially not when I can do all my shopping online. That's what the internet was made for! Avoiding shopping mall crowds!

A New Face for My Own Place.

Everyone has those days when they look at their "crib" and decides it needs a change. Well, I looked at my crib the other day, and i realized i was sick of it. plain sick of it. You see my place has really old furniture and I'm sick and tired of looking at them every single day. So i searched the net for things i can do to make my crib less boring.

When I looked at the pictures of the Bedroom Furniture, I couldn't help but imagine what my crib would look like with these modern and stylish furniture. Why?

The question "why?" has been in my head several times these past few weeks.

Why is this person acting this way? Why am i just barely catching up with the others? Why is everything so hard? Why doesn't my math teacher teach better? Why am i not studying hard enough? Why am i always cramming? Why do I hate? Why am I losing a friend.....

These things run through my head each and everyday. I wish i could find the answers.

Winter Wonderland

After months of school, projects, hard lessons and killer tests, It is now time to sit down, relax and enjoy the days to come. Christmas is just around the corner and we should enjoy this time and forget all our problems because it only comes once a year and we should make the most of it.

This year, I am once again cramming to buy gifts for my family. And i have to say, IT IS NOT EASY.You know a few months back, i told myself that i wouldn't cram for gifts this year, that i wouldn't have to worry so much. and yet i am here trying to find ways to buy those gifts. I wasn't lazy to buy, I just had no time to buy. We had about 6-7 projects that are like 10-15% of our final grades. So obviously i had to focus on this first. And that is the reason why i am once again cramming.

This Christmas, I'm going to make a few changes in my lifestyle. First, I will forget all my problems related to school. Second, I will be LAZY. Third, I will buy toys for the street kids that knock on the car window. Fourth, I will try to gain weight (this is because i look like a walking stick). Fifth and last, I will appreciate my family and friends more.

These are my priorities this Christmas, and I wish everyone a very Merry Christmas!

Diamonds are Forever

To some people diamonds are shiny stones that are worth thousands and thousands of dollars. Some people think of it as something to impress their friends with. Others think of them as the most important thing in their lives.

But to me, my diamonds are my friends, family and the people i care about. The people who are there for you no matter what happens. They always have your back to back you up. They always support you in whatever you want to do with your life. They are the ones who slap you to prevent you from wasting your life.

Why am I writting about these people? I guess this post will serve to be my thank you note to all the people I care about. I want to show those people my appreciation. I want to thank them for everything they have done to me and for the good memories they have created. My family, friends and the people i care about....these are my diamonds. Like the title "diamonds are forever", these people are also forever to me. I guarantee that when i grow up, i will still think of the good times me and these people had. The memories will always be remembered and never forgotten. So thank you to these people. (you know who you are!)

And I also have to say that my diamonds, my friends and family are....REPRESENTING!

Ok , like any other blogger, i want my blog to be remembered and appreciated. I want people to go out of their plan and check this site for updates.

Now, my previous blogs were not really that great, they sucked actually but im going to change that. Make a change

Today, i saw a kid on the street begging for money just to buy something to eat. Even with his round pittyful eyes staring at me, I still ignored him. While in the car, my watch fell on the floor and when i was just about to pick it up I realized that how nice my watch looked. By looking at my watch, I realized how good my clothes look, and then I got another glimpse of the kid on the side mirror. I saw his thin body and dirty arms swaying from car to car begging. And suddenly I felt sorrow for the kid, looking at him and seeing how he begs for food made me think. It made me appreciate my life more, but I knew that it should not just stop at appreciating. I realized that we should give more to the unfortunate and be contented with what we have. There's a saying "We get what we give", now its our turn to give. We must be more generous and kindhearted to others. We must be contented with what we have. We should make a difference.
